Excursions / Incursions

Special excursions are planned to encourage children’s awareness of their environment and to have an occasional change from the day-to-day routine in the Centre.

Written details of excursions will be provided to parents.    If you wish your child to attend any excursions, you must give Endeavour written permission.    The required child/staff ratio will be maintained according to the childcare regulations.    Alternative arrangements will be made for children not attending an excursion.

Visitors are encouraged and invited to the Centre so children are introduced to services and people they may not otherwise be exposed to.    Recent excursions and visitors to the Centre include,

  • The Western Australian Symphony Orchestra who allowed the children to experience blowing a tuba, trumpet and trombone.
  • Landsdale Animal Farm
  • Caversham Wildlife Park
  • Local Library
  • Local High school to listen to music concert
  • Constable Care
  • Australian reptile encounter
  • Dentist
  • Vet
  • Musical parent playing guitar
